Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Merchandiser is responsible for executing merchandising standards across assigned stores, ensuring accurate product placement, planogram compliance, category presentation, and stock visibility. The role requires the ability to read and interpret planograms, maintain shelf standards, and support sales growth through effective visual merchandising and product availability.Desired Candidate ProfileRead, understand, and execute planograms accurately in stores.Ensure products are placed according to approved merchandising layouts and category plans.Monitor shelf compliance and maintain merchandising standards across assigned outlets.Conduct regular store visits to verify product placement, pricing, and promotional displays.Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.Coordinate with store teams to implement new product launches and promotional activities.Identify gaps in stocking, facing, and product availability and recommend corrective actions.Maintain category adjacencies and product segmentation as per merchandising guidelines.Track competitor merchandising activities and provide market feedback.Support seasonal resets, store openings, and category refresh projects.Generate merchandising reports and highlight compliance issues.Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Store Teams to ensure seamless execution.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of planograms and merchandising principles.Ability to analyze product placement and optimize shelf presentation.Good attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic analytical and reporting capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail reporting tools.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to travel across stores within Abu Dhabi and surrounding regions.Qualification & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail, Marketing, or a related field.1?3 years of experience in retail merchandising, FMCG, pharmacy retail, supermarket, or department store environments.Experience with planogram execution, shelf management, and retail audits preferred.Knowledge of merchandising KPIs, category management, and visual merchandising standards is an advantage.
