Medical Laboratory TechnologistJob Location : UAEJob Description :Perform all routine chemistry /immunology patient samples.Responsible for running quality control at her unit.Follow the laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses,reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.Adhere to the laboratory quality control policies, document all quality control activities,instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.Responsible for verifying new control lot and new reagent lot per shipment.Responsible for updating reagents inventory.Responsible for patient sample retention according to Quality Management Program.Responsible for monitoring of Water purification unit.Follow the laboratory established corrective action policies and procedures whenevertest systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels ofperformance.Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.Collect blood samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain bloodsample.Maintain material supplies, i.e., auxiliary reagents, of equipment.Responsible for all quality and safety improvement related to his job.Responsible of giving and receiving of any work endorsement during shift of duty.Perform other duties as assigned by lab supervisor and director.
