Job Description

SynopsisTo support Etihad Engineering Supply Chain department to achieve highest possible service level at lowest total cost. Preventing delays and cancellation by adopting a cost-effective inventory provisioning. Responsible for adequate current asset inventory holding for all customers and to effectively manage spares for optimum utilization and effectively record and reports. Accountabilities

  • Monitor inventory and report on movements, stock level & turn.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and trend analysis to track supply chain management KPIs.
  • To calculate, analyze and update the reorder levels in ERP for current assets to ensure adequate availability of material to achieve target service levels at reasonable cost and create forecast models.
  • Manage supply chain data and related analysis for monthly, weekly & daily reports, measuring operational and financial performance to support SCM leadership team with business decision.
  • To measure performance against targets/budgets, to measure internal operational performance, identify trends and issues.
  • Identify and solve complex supply chain problems using data mining, analytics, and business judgment.
  • Summarize findings into useful information with implication for increase revenue, cost reduction, and/or driving supply chain business decisions.
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects related to inventory management, cost optimization, and strategic planning, to meet business requirement and to document standard operating processes.
  • Handle recurring analysis and tasks aimed at driving continuous cost saving initiatives.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelors or equivalent technical degree with minimum 5 years inventory management experience.
  • Expert in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, Python & Process Mapping Tools with excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preference to candidates with aircraft maintenance and/or supply chain inventory management experience.
  • Knowledge of technical manuals like MPD, AMM, CMM, IPC and familiar with RSPLs would be an asset.
  • Self-motivated, team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
