Minimum QualificationHigh school / ATI or equivalent technical diploma Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills5 years hands on practical experience in major oil and gas company logistics shipping / sea freight supplyTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:Understanding of the Logistics and supply chain function in general and Logistics in the oil/gas industry context in particular.Understanding of Company?s business processes and the influences on them.High level of business acumen.JOB PURPOSE:To manage effectively receipts, storing, issuance and shipping of materials to the end user when required. To plan the vessel?s route and schedule to meet end users requirements.Job Specific AccountabilitiesReceive, inspect, store and ship material as per the material?s technical specifications, quantity and physical condition.Issue materials to end users on deferent sites and ensure proper packing and safe handling of materials.Update MAXIMO with data.Ensures and maintain material physical inventory while receiving/issuing materials.Ensure safe area of operation and keep good housekeepingEnsure full implementation of HSEMS, operation procedures and adhere to the Company safety standard and code of practiceMaintain all storage and working areas in a safe, and ensure good housekeeping.Ensure safe handling of waste & scrap materials as well as Chemicals as per the relevant MSDS.Ensure sensitive and volatile materials are regularly monitored, stored under controlled temperature and logged into Maximo ApplicationsReceive and verify materials returned from operational areas together with related documentation. Coordinate as required whether inspection and if items are approved to be stored according to departmental procedures.Prepare shipping statistical data and relevant graphs on monthly basis.Ensures that returned material are correctly labeled, packed and protected for storage/shipping and are in good condition.Ensures the storage and protection of material, by implementing procedures and/or manufacturer?s recommendations in terms of protection and preservation of material and ensure the materials are in good serviceable condition.Prepare cargo manifest and coordinate with handling team for material collection, loading/offloading operations.Attend, monitor and ensure safe handling loading/off-loading of materials.Receive back loaded cargoes from sites and maintain proper tracking of returned material.Arrange and coordinate the Fuel / Water supply.Review deck space and plan the supply vessel?s route as per the priority and criticality of the materials.Ensure proper documentations for outbound shipments.Issue regular reports for received/shipped materials.
