Job Description

Job Title: Liaison EngineerLocation: Abu DhabiJob Type: Full-timeJob Overview:We are seeking a Liaison Engineer to act as a liaison between project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely completion of projects. The Liaison Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with all parties involved, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication between project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications, including scope, budget, quality, and safety
  • Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, resolve issues, and address concerns
  • Manage the distribution of project information, including plans, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
  • Review and approve project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses and assist with forecasting and reporting
  • Provide technical support to project team members as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project management or liaison engineering, preferably in a construction or engineering environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
