Job Description

Title:Lead Risk EngineerJob RequirementKBR is looking for a Lead Risk Engineer with Project execution experience to be based in Abu Dhabi and flexible to travel/relocate temporarily to other locations for a PMC project.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management process for projects.
  • analyzing risks through risk assessments, as well as identifying, describing, and estimating the risks affecting the business
  • Comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements, and environmental factors, and evaluating the organizations previous handling of risks.
  • Risk reporting to management so they understand the most significant risks and to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business and to individuals to ensure they understand their accountability for individual risks.
  • Carrying out processes such as purchasing insurance, implementing health and safety measures, and making business continuity plans to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong.
  • Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors
  • Providing support, education, and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.
Experience required:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering is a must.
  • Should have a minimum of 20+ years of experience in oil & gas industry.
  • Experience in previous Onshore Oil & Gas projects is a must.
  • FEED experience is a must.
  • PMC experience is an added advantage.
  • Middle East experience required.
