JOB DESCRIPTIONDuties & Responsibilities:?Test dirty jars upon arrival from the field?Drain jars, disassemble and tag parts.?Assemble Jars?Recognize faulty parts, and troubleshoot potential tool problems.?Steam clean and wire brush all parts.?Set torque springs.?Fill tools with oil and pressure test.?Test assembled jars.?Paint and put jars in stock.?Operate overhead crane.?Maintain constant alertness for flaws in the parts and report problems to Shop Foreman or Jar Service Manager.?Replace hand tools to their proper locations.?Perform visual inspection with supervision.?Perform magnetic particle inspection with direct supervision.?Maintain and encourage good housekeeping.?Have a good understanding of Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.?Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.?Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.?Maintain shop and equipment, work in steam bay, paint tools and general shop duties.?Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.Authority:?Assist in periodic training of Level I Tool Technicians on a buddy system, integrating and installing the Weatherford ethical approach on Safety, Process and Procedure.QHSE Responsibilities:?Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.?Apply Weatherford, and where appropriate Client Company s, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety Management Systems.?The employee is responsible for both their own safety and for the safety of others.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills:?The employee must be a highly motivated, dynamic and driven individual.?Have the ability to anticipate client and internal needs and be a key player in assisting the departments which support/run the operation.?Previous experience in a workshop or repair and maintenance environment required.?Must be able to use the right information and/or systems and/or technology, and be able to identify and implement product line improvements and business development as appropriate.?Must be a team player with good communication and inter-personal skills.?A strong and clear ethical approach to QHSE.Required Education :?Completion of education in School or College.?Good mechanical background.Personnel Qualities;?Good attitude with a strong ethical personality.?A good team player.?Self motivatedRequired Experience :?Must have good work ethics, along with the ability to work and/or in a team environment or unsupervised, and exercise initiative to resolve potential and actual problems within specific time constraints.?Must have good personal time management skills along with a demonstrated ability to effectively utilize dedicated resources to achieve positive results or solutions.?ust be able to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions.Must have proven technical problem-solving ability.?Must have good communication skills, both verbal & written.?Must be able to demonstrate good teamwork and ability to create working relationships with fellow Weatherford employees.?Must have a clear customer focus and be able to understand the variety of people and business cultures in different areas of the business - and respond to them accordingly.POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILSTBD
