Assist ITManager on Working with the Director of BusinessSupport Director, develop medium and long-term strategic plans ofthe Department in line with the Client s vision, mission and strategic goals;Assist ITManager on Establish departmental goals, methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes inalignment with the Sector and Authority s strategic vision, mission and goals;Assist on Establishing departmental plans whichproject funding, feasibility, staffing, and time constraints of the department ensuring the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasksrelated to the IT Section (in coordination with HR Department);Develop an IT Infrastructure Library service catalogue and IT assetregister so the IT team can forward plan for updating, replacing, orderingequipment;Assist on the operation of employeesoperations in the IT Section in performing their delegated tasks;Ensure that the performance ofvarious tasks and the conduct of the staff in the Section are in accordancewith the Client policies and procedures;Developmentand management of the IT Departmental budget for input to the Technical,Security and Facility Management budget.Provide infrastructure services vision, enableinnovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistentwith the Business requirements and expectations.Development of the strategy of the operationsstrategy of the section to improve and enhance overall business continuity anddisaster recovery capabilities.P repares reportson the overall unit performance of the ICT Section for the ICT Manager and the TechnicalOperations Director.Escalate issues, keep informed, advice andreceive instructions.Management of the new technologiesstudies to be analyzed for the Organization Technology Improvement. He/Sheparticipates in the studies of the general technical architecture and itsevolution.Ensure the application of thedepartmental procedures and policiesManage and contributes to the establishment of the departmental goals,methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes in alignment withthe Sector and Authority s strategic vision, mission and goals;Contributes to established departmental planswhich project funding, feasibility, staffing, and time constraints of thedepartment ensuring the availabilityof required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the IT Section (incoordination with HR Department) ;Provide clear direction to the team of the unitto perform their tasksProvideactivity report of the UnitEstablish metrics, key performance indicators,and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IToperations.Ensure comprehensive disaster recoveryarchitecture is maintained and operations are in placeLead a team of engineering and administrationprofessionals who with others define, manage and support the entire operationsinfrastructure.
