Job Description

This role is expected to work closely with International IT Heads and HO headsand staff to support the regional business operations? Coordinate with all international IT heads and subsidiaries to maintainbranch IT system up and running all the time, to provide user supportto all the branch users, to maintain and support all external application,Central Bank terminals, Swift terminals and other applications, to carryout all daily and periodic processes including systemenhancements/amendment and to generate Management InformationSystem reports.? To work closely with all international locations as single point of contact forH.O. for Vulnerability and patch management, to keep patch managementprocess up to date .? Provide functional and technical expertise in the review, analysis,development and implementation of business applications and administratingdatabase whenever applicable and with coordination with HO-ITD ensuringapplication of security and adherence with global bank strategy.? Provide user support to all the branch users and provide necessarytraining on usage of various bank systems and applications. Maintainand support all bank related applications including Central Bankapplications and portals.? Ensure high availability of systems and networks as per the agreed SLAswith either HO or vendors, escalate and resolve all IT related issues.? Prepare Management Information System reports as and whenever required /approved and generate all periodic reports as per approved schedule.? Installing configuring and maintaining various branch IT Systems andcomponents like Operating Systems, Local Area Networks, Communicationsprotocols, Accounting System, Active Directory, Antivirus, ..And to ensure allsystem components are up and running smoothly.? Update the system with all and periodic amendments/enhancements andpatches as dictated by the vendors and/or HO ITD, maintaining all thenecessary logs and implementation records.? Ensure adherence to all IT policies and procedures with a special focus ITSecurity and the overall governance of IT.? Carry out all daily processes and IT related operational tasks as per theschedule approved by the system manual/ HO ITD and maintain necessary logof these processes. Record any process failure in System Incident Reports (SIR)and to escalate to HO ITD for resolution. Report all incidents to Branch Head ofoperations support for his information and necessary action at the branchlevel.? Take out and store all necessary backup copies of system software, systemlogs and data and store them in separate secured place as per IT Policy of the Bank? Be well conversant with AML and Sanctions requirements and ensure therequirements strictly complied with.? Act as the main escalation point within ITD for risks and issues concerning thelocal IT Services.? Ensuring local and int?l regulations are adhered to. Group polices areunderstood and followed? Ensure that incidents and issues are addressed in timely manner to ensure the smooth operations in all int?l regions.? Together with the Head - IT International, Subsidiaries & Strategic Projects andHead office management, provide direction on the use of emergingtechnologies for IT systems? Coordination with different International teams, flexible to work in differenttime zones? Good Interpersonal skillsUniversity degree in a technical field or Computer Science discipline.? Experience of at least 10 years in information technology and service management.? Strong knowledge of contracting, negotiation, organization development, change management, technology trends, service management and strategic planning? Extensive knowledge of automated systems including software, hardware,telecommunications and in particular, information technology architecture in a banking environment? People management, team leadership and project management skills and experience.? Demonstrated ability to work tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projectsMust have extensive knowledge and first-hand experience in working directly for application life and technology refresh, Energetic, dynamic individual who has the rightattitude/approach and is ready for any kind of work, good interpersonal skills and is flexible with the working hours
