You will be working as Hub Marketing and Communications Manager for India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA), will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in UAE. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing customer focused marketing communications and demand generation plans and campaigns for internal and external communications for the companys Energy Industries business within the IMEA region, developing relationships and working across country organizations included in the Hub to ensure marketing strategies and messages are rolled out to the entire region.This position reports toHub Manager India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA)Your responsibilities

  • Supporting executive leadership in positioning ABB as an industry spokesperson in the region, developing marketing communications strategies connecting with local customer and economic needs, analyzing competitive landscapes, aligning with business and growth initiatives, translating global strategies and messages into action plans for the region,
  • Executing marketing communication(s) campaigns across all identified marketing tactics and tools demand generation, email marketing, digital marketing and advertising, marketing automation, nurturing campaigns, social media, web content, landing pages. Utilizing these tools in generating leads and gaining market insights required in identifying growth opportunities feeding this information back to sales. Analyzing and reporting campaign results / metrics and communicating with stakeholders,
  • Cascading global messages to the Hub and supporting smaller units, local internal communications campaigns, establishing strong relationship with local country teams in Hub ensuring message consistency and knowledge of offering, leading internal collaboration across the Hub businesses and sales channels telling the entire ABB story for process industries, sharing marketing tools and strategies
  • Supporting key management with communications materials, including presentations, speeches, articles, and employee programs, creating a collaborative team environment within Hub in which communicators actively participate and take ownership, planning, coordinating, and executing event strategy for local process industries events
  • Integrating global messaging and branding into the booth layout and theme, identifying events for new markets, and building business cases for attendance and involvement where needed, taking leadership role in working across internal business lines ensuring comprehensive story and approach, supporting global leverage of locally produced content (including PR, web stories, etc.)
  • Identifying and highlighting key wins, successes, case studies, and technology applications in region, creating stories around these compelling topics supporting and driving market leadership, leveraging the divisions digital marketing practice activating campaigns on web, social (organic and paid), digital event platforms, paid advertising and email marketing and predictive analytics positioning us as leaders, driving positive perception of our brand, and engaging customers
  • Actively studying customers buying journeys identifying lead capture points in campaigns, & leverage lead capture tools to funnel marketing leads into our CRM for further nurturing, ensuring sales ready leads are funneled to relevant salespersons in the region, with service level agreements to follow up such as in 3 business days
  • Maintaining dashboards presenting campaign KPIs such as leads and prospects engaged, click through rates, lead capture on forms as well as revenue marketing KPIs such as marketing leads, sales leads, conversion ratios, opportunities, and closed won opportunities from regional marketing campaigns
  • Localizing and integrating engaging messaging, value propositions and content around industry pain points, monitoring key customer issues and emerging market trends in the region and creating new messaging and content where needed, localizing globally developed tools including possible language translation
  • Taking initiative in working directly with sales in identifying content gaps and white spaces for developing strategic material that can drive orders in the region, while also being reused globally, owning budget for marketing communications programs, and ensuring budget alignment with quarterly cost tracking, selecting suppliers in compliance with business supply chain rules and ensuring economy of scale
  • Providing leadership and management for local customer experience center - working across businesses to constantly improve and drive growth for the center, developing annual marketing strategy to increase customer focus and ROI for center with innovative ideas and new technologies,
Your background
  • Degree or Master level education in Marketing and/or Communications /Engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years of marketing or marketing communications experience in a B2B environment (prefer technical/ industrial environment)
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities are mandatory, results focused with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, track record for developing strategic marketing communications plans to achieve desired targets
  • Strong background in strategic marketing or business development field to translate local market needs into actionable plans, must be a self-starter and a strong networker with strategic thinking capabilities and a hands-on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor and report progress
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
