Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen with a significant investment solution company in the UAE. Our client is looking for Head of Business Development and Sales who will be primarily responsible for leading their sales and marketing team, creating various initiatives to increase the companys customer portfolio and grow its brand within the GCC market. Aside from doing business development, the person will also be responsible for managing a small team, representing the organization in various functions/meetings/ events. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conducting market mapping and generating new leads within the target market
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts
  • Developing and managing the departments budget and overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns
  • Preparing and presenting ad-hoc, quarterly and annual reports/presentations for senior management
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:
  • A degree holder of any related course
  • At least 1 year in business development or sales role within investment management tool or products
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the GCC market
  • Exposure in family offices/ sovereign wealth fund and other banking and financial institution would be a plus
  • Proficiency in English language is a must; knowledge in Arabic language would be a plus
  • Willing to be based in Abu Dhabi
  • Willing to travel around GCC
