Job Description

The Associate Consultant would be working with a small team of specialised education consultants who will guide the candidate through each project. As an SME, the candidate would have the unique opportunity to explore various aspects of the company, ranging from business development, marketing, private tuition, and consultancy.Typically, the mornings and early afternoons are spent working through ongoing consultancy projects, finding new projects, as well as preparing material for afternoon lessons. For the remainder of the working day, the candidate would be required to undertake private tuition lessons with high profile clients in our office or at their home. The candidate would only be required to tutor subjects that they are comfortable with, and have studied themselves at least to A level standard. The tuition would mainly be one-on-one; however, the candidate should be prepared to also teach small groups of up to 5 or 6 students of similar abilities. For tuition, the students ages can vary from pre-school to A level, and where the candidate thrives, the tuition will be tailored to suit this.If there are no ongoing consultancy projects, we would also ask the candidate to help find suitable projects for usThe ideal candidate s personality and qualifications:The candidate must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.? The candidate should have a Mathematics, Science, Economics or Social Science related Degree.? A UK driving license would be preferred? No consultancy experience is required as our team will guide the candidate through each project, however, tutoring experience is preferred.? The ideal candidate should be eager to learn about the business and get involved in all current and future projects.? The candidate should be patient and adaptable, especially when tutoring students.? The candidate should be prepared for every day is different.? During peak seasons (close to examinations), the candidate should be willing to work slightly longer hours and should strive to maintain the high-quality service we provide.? The candidate should be eager to share their knowledge and inspire students to achieve the highest results.What are the perks of working at this company?? In accordance with the law in the UAE, the income will be tax-free.? The candidate will be provided with housing (paid for by the company) during the initial probation period (8 weeks).? After the probation period, the candidate will be given a generous housing allowance by the company.? An outbound flight from the UK to Abu Dhabi will be provided for the candidate, with a return flight also booked. The candidate will be provided with 1 return flight to the UK during each 12-month period of employment.? After the probation period is completed, the company will apply for and secure a full working visa for the candidate and will bear the cost for this.? The company will also provide health insurance for the candidate.? As we are an SME, there will be many unique opportunities for the candidate to explore various aspects of the company rather than being tied to a single department.? If there are any aspects of the business that the candidate particularly enjoys, we can advise on courses to help the candidate gain qualifications. We will also try to incorporate these areas more in the candidate s role.? All work-related travel expenses will be covered by the company.
