Our integrated flame and gas monitoring systems are designed to excel under the toughest conditions to help you streamline day-to-day operations and, more importantly, keep your people safe.The engineer shall ensure reliable operation of the field instruments for Flame & Gas detectors such as Fixed Toxic & Combustible Detectors, Open path gas detectors, Ultrasonic Gas Leak detectors, Flame Detectors, Air Particle monitors, Aspirators & Controllers. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process control environment with a particular emphasis on commissioning and start-up of Flame and Gas detection systems (devices and related systems).Pro-actively work with customers to grow our Sales & after-sales business. Support our project and Sales team when required.Your sphere of influence may also include, but may not be limited to:Carry out supervision of installation and commissioning, fault analysis / investigation and repairs on Rosemount Flame & Gas ProductsUse diagnostic tools and software to assist with installation / commissioning / on-line fault rectificationDemonstrate, calibrate and retrofit the Emerson range of F&G devicesCompile service Reports / Time Sheets and Obtaining customer sign off for work undertakenLiaison with Business Unit's Global Engineering / Manufacturing centersSupport Service Job Planning for Service and Training jobsSupport sales activities with required support, like surveys, and customer meetings.Coordinate with Local Business Partner and clients.Coordinate warranty, maintenance & repair activities for Return Material Authorization.Support service and sales leader to develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.Provide field operations support to customers in accordance to with the terms of the customer contract and AMC.Support sales to visit customers, consultants, end users and transmitting our technology expertise to them.Support service and sales leader to provide customers with timely price quotations, sustainable products and latest technologies best designed to meet the customers' needs.Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulationsRecognising and accepting HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Procedures.To succeed, you'll need to demonstrate:? Qualified to a minimum of degree level in an Engineering discipline? Proven expertise in Flame & Gas solutions? A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process control environment with a particular emphasis on commissioning and start-up of fire & Gas product lines? Other languages such as French or Arabic will be a plus
