Job Description

SynopsisResponsible for supporting the FP&A manager in executing the month end deliverables for the EYE management as well as for the parent holding group, including but not limited to, creation monthly management reporting packs, financial forecasts (monthly, quarterly), budget preparation and assisting in long term financial planning with good finance acumen with the goal to have effective management reporting. Accountabilities

  • Work closely with Manager FP&A, Group Finance and the wider business to prepare and where required consolidate the 5 Year Plan, Annual Budget and monthly deliverables and forecasts.
  • Create base schedules, maintain assumptions log and attend business meetings with Business Partners to support any conversations and capture inputs for final submission.
  • Review, analyze and explain cost variances vs. budget and forecast as part of the month-end close.
  • Preparation of business cases and various proposals for new initiatives, to support decision making
  • Proficient of excel based financial modelling using various add-in tools.
  • Create / consolidate financial schedules by working closely with business partners in clear and concise manner
  • Ensure internal control and compliance with all Company policies and procedures and assist internal audit for ad-hoc requests on data sharing for owned processes
Education & Experience
  • Must have at least a bachelors Degree in Business/Finance
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, MBA or ACCA, is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, budgeting and/or forecasting.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage mass data and analyze/summarize to help decision making.
  • Ability to apply governance, risk and compliance components
  • Adaptive to dynamic environment.
  • Great communication skills - English (verbal and writing).
