Basic Function:- Support the Rig Manager in management of the HSE and Asset Integrity systems at an assigned rig site(s). Provide safety and environmental advice to rig personnel. Develop and monitor safety procedures; deliver safety training programs and audit working practices in assigned area, in particular the 'Permit to Work' system and all affiliated safe systems of work. Investigate and advise rig management and immediate supervisor on all matters relating to incidents or accidents and to prepare appropriate recommendations to prevent their recurrence in the future.Minimum requirements:- 6 years' varied experience in HSE, including at least 3 continuous years within an oil/gas industry environment.- B.Sc. in Petroleum, Mechanical, electrical, chemical or any other relevant science discipline.- Below 45 years old- Nebosh will be added an advantage- Proficient in use of radio & telecommunications equipment.
