Job Description

SynopsisScreening of all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as reviewing all contracts with regards to Export Control Regulations within EY Engineering.Accountabilities

  • Approve all export control transactions all the time maintaining strong oversight of the programme and of all departments that are involved in exporting an item.
  • Control the re exporting of parts and technology from EYEng in accordance with contractual commitments with suppliers and trade regulations of governmental agencies.
  • Conduct Periodic internal audit with dispatch department to make sure that Record keeping requirement are met as set by the Regulations.
  • Provide accurate guidance to the business on export control related issues. Keep the business informed of regulatory updates providing advice and guidance on complying with new requirements as required.
  • Review and provide advice for all Third-party contracts which required Export Compliance to be included.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to secure relevant export control licenses as needed to ensure compliance and avoid regulatory penalties
  • Implement and embed the export control policies and procedures within Etihad Airways Engineering to ensure export control compliance.
  • Implement processes to ensure that 100% of suppliers and customers and parts are screened for export control compliance.
Education & Experience
  • Complying with US Export Controls from Bureau of Industry and Security - United States of America
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field to work as Export Control Officer and minimum 5 years experience to work and manage Export Control
