Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures and advise on performance management issues.Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.Sets and implements employee relation's targets and goals and ensure they are achieved in a timely manner. Liaises with employees/departments to understand their needs and if appropriate, turns those needs into Employee Relations Section's goals and objectives. Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.Planning and sometimes delivering training - including inductions for new staff.Advocates for the practices of due process and just cause in all areas of employee relations. Managing employee participation in management decisions.Demonstrate a high standard of active listening skills as well as other verbal and written communication skills.Ensures all staff maintains confidentiality regarding staff/patient information.Readily responsible for the motivation, welfare and counselling of all employees.Enhance employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.Communicating effectively the Human Resources philosophy of the facility to the current and prospective employees.Answering employee?s various queries and concerns during their service at the facility regarding their eligibilities and rights in accordance with the Human Resources policies. Maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeps abreast of significant economic, social and technical trends and regulatory guidelines, which may influence assigned functions/services and/or the facility.Functions as a resource to all Staff and acts as liaison with other disciplines and departments.
