OVERVIEWThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer with a dotted line reporting to the Group CFO and financial team. The successful executive will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and will be an operationally oriented finance executive with the ability to understand how to maximize margin and profitability both by driving costs out of the business and building margin into projects. Additionally, the CFO will be proactive in identifying additional opportunities to grow top line revenues organically and via potential acquisitions. Responsibilities include:Strategy, Planning, and Operational Management? Communicate, engage, and interact with the CEO, the executive leadership team of the organisation and the Group CFO and financial team..? Communicate, engage, and interact with clients and prospective key clients.? Establish fiscal year-end budgets throughout the operations and perform quarterly reviews.? Assess and evaluate the operational and financial performance of the organisation with regards to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.? Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the Organisation.? Evaluate business opportunities during the sales process and evaluate risk, rewards, and profitability.? Make suggestions for processes and for increasing working efficiency.? Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company?s plan for growth and expansion.? Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting, and payroll staff as required.? Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.? Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational, commercial models.? Interact closely with the CEO and the Group CFO when required? Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team.
