Job Description

PurposeTo support the Catering Performance team to identify improvement opportunities, drive data-driven solutions and communicate actionable insights from available systems. An action-oriented analyst who uses critical thinking and analytical techniques to support the development of performance solutions and strategies. Actively work with Catering leaders and support teams on development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and performance management models. Own and manage data initiatives and projects both on-going and ad-hoc, while using new approaches to data analytics.Accountabilities

  • Support the development, execution, and improvement of core Catering performance data / reports / dashboards
  • Drive ad-hoc analysis & root cause analysis to derive actionable insights for the Catering Performance team
  • Work with stakeholders across GE team to identify, communicate, & support implementation of operational improvement opportunities
  • Summarize & visualize analysis results and operationalise analysis in PowerBI
  • Drive opportunities for analysis / report automation & develop automated decision-making support tools to be used by a wide range of users
  • Organise & host working / steering groups / projects to drive initiatives and support implementation
  • Support the development & expansion of Etihads Catering data resources
Education and Experience
  • Educated to degree level (min. Bachelor) in aviation management, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics, or similar field
  • 3-5 years professional experience in quantitative role, e.g. Analytics, Performance Management or Process Improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint advanced skills in MS PowerBI (or similar) basic knowledge in SQL
  • Preferably experience in aviation industry, with emphasis on customer experience or F&B
