Project DescriptionThere are several ongoing projects for one of our clients in Abu Dhabi. The client is a sovereign wealth fund owned by Emirate of Abu Dhabi founded for the purpose of investing funds on behalf of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It manages the Emirate's excess oil reserves.The Client uses many different bespoke and existing products and platforms to run the business.Our team is small but growing fast, now it consists of several ReactJS and C# developers.Responsibilities? Participate in requirements clarification and sprint planning sessions? Design technical solution? Writing unit and integration tests? Support QA teammates in acceptance process? Coach/mentor new joiners? Define best practicesSkillsMust have? Strong experience with 1-2 of the following (candidate should be willing to learn and work on all three of the following languages): o C# (ASP.NET, WPF) - strongly preferred o Python o JavaScript? Familiar with unit & integration testing? Familiar with CI/CD? Familiar with agile methodologyNice to have? OpenFin experience (roll-out, applications integration)? Business knowledge in Finance? Database knowledge and skills (e.g. SQL Server / Entity Framework)? Knowledge in Math (basic understand of probability, regression, etc.)? Exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving skills? Hunger for learning new technologies with a 'can do' mindset? Delivery focused and willingness to work extra miles.
