We are the worlds largest Logistics company, and are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in Road Freight to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth, as Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing our service offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients.Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the road freight sector by conducting market research and analyzing industry trends to create targeted strategies that drive revenue growth.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored logistics solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business goals, leveraging technology to optimize processes.Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients, showcasing the value of our services and differentiating our offerings in a competitive market.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company, build professional relationships, and stay informed about market developments and competitor activities.Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's goals and profitability targets.Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns to promote our road freight services, utilizing digital marketing tools and platforms to reach a wider audience.Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall business strategy.SkillsStrong negotiation skills to effectively close deals and establish long-term partnerships.Excellent communication abilities to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.Proficiency in market analysis and research tools to identify trends and opportunities within the logistics sector.Project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery of services.Familiarity with CRM software to manage client relationships and track business development activities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to achieve personal and company goals.Strategic thinking to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.
