DescriptionClient ProfileOur award-winning client specializes in commercial and mixed-use projects ranging from healthcare, education, hospitality and restaurants to urban design for local and international clients and we are recruiting an experienced commercial client facing architect to Abu Dhabi team to develop and create design concepts and product designs from storyboards to presentation through to construction drawings.Role SummaryPrepare AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit drawings to create architectural designs during conceptual and schematic phases of projects to incorporate client requirements for structure, space, furnishings and materials.Participate in the development cycle from planning, design, permit and approvals submittals and review and oversight of the construction.Organize and conduct meetings with construction and subcontractor teams and approve contractors shop drawings whilst maintaining drawing files and archives.Essential Skills & Experience Required8+ years commercial architecture experience on design-build and LEED projects with the ability to liaise with clients, owners, contractors, consultants and developers on project status and designs with through knowledge of building codes to ensure designs comply with statutory legal requirements.Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience of preparing and reviewing contract agreements and participate in RFIs and RFPs.Advanced working knowledge of BIM-related software and Navisworks.Education & LicenseBachelor of Architecture degree is mandatory Architecture BA (Hons)RIBA licensed Architects will be given preference.Candidate ProfileCurrently living in the United Arab Emirates.Fluency in English must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
