Description:Specific Duties. Data entry of all transactions using Quickbooks. Maintain and file soft and hard copies of all receipts and financial information, securely. Process online, cheque and cash payments and, petty cash disbursements. Update Client expense accounts, daily. Review the reconciliation report for each client job provided by the sherpa team and process any financial actions required, upon approval of the CEO. Raise and follow up payment of invoices. Process payroll. Calculate and file all tax requirements. Comply with and enforce all UAE financial legislation and legislative changes with recommendations to management for any actions required. Prepare monthly and annual accounts with recommendations for any actions required. Liaise with banks and auditors. Recommend, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and controls as the companys accounting transitions from being outsourced to a third party to being in-house and managed by you.. Ensure all financial information is secure and kept confidential.. Maintain client relationships with confidence.. Build and maintain relationships with banks to ensure up-to-date knowledge of accounts, account opening requirements, regulatory changes for the company to be able to share useful information to assist our clients.. Develop and implement AML policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of AML programs and controls.. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.. Investigate suspicious transaction reports (STRs) and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.. Maintain records of all STRs and related documentation, including any follow-up action taken.. Provide training and guidance to employees on AML policies and procedures.. Coordinate with regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as necessary.. Keep up-to-date with new AML regulations and emerging trends in money laundering and terrorist financing.. Make recommendations to senior management on ways to improve the companys AML program.
