Employment: Full Time My client a leading PMC in the region has an urgent requirement for a Rail Track Engineer with strong design and construction supervision experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Review of project drawings and ensure comply with specifications and codesReview all site investigation and geotechnical reports.Supervision of the project implementation.Supervising all necessary quality tests as specified in the Agreement with the contractorsCertification of the testing and commissioning results. In accordance to the supervision teamInspect the progress of the projects according to the AGREEMENT WITH SAR and request the Contractors for acceleration measure if necessary;Inspect the Drawings and Documents to be prepared by the Contractors;Review sub-contracts;Provide daily report to PMInspect and approve detail of construction drawings, material selection, design, manufacture or supply, assembly, system testing and construction of the Contractors in accordance with the purpose of project;Supervise the entire project implementation as identified in the contract between the Contractors and the SRO;report directly to the Project ManagerAttend progress meetings REQUIREMENTS: Candidates who fulfil the following criteria and are available in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are invited to apply.Qualifications and Experience:Must have Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent disciplineMust have 15 years postgraduate experience with at least 10 years on large mainline rail projects.At least 2 years experience on large rail projects with SAR/SRO in Saudi ArabiaStrong ability to review rail specifications.Good knowledge in computer and design software.Must speak & write English fluently.
