Forward thinking, social and environmental consciousness are the fundamental principles uniting the YALJ Group.YALJ Group are currently searching for a Farm Manager with organic vegetables experience to be based in Qassim, KSA.About the roleOrganic vegetables experience is essentialMonitoring plantations in open field areas (checking EC and pH, monitoring temperature and humidity)Maintaining crop production by cultivating and maintaining optimal growing conditions of vegetables & open field areasProvide technical supportDevelop relationships with farmers/ researchers and independent consultants within the regionMonitor the quality of yield of vegetablesCoordinate supplies, such as fertilizer, seeds, packing materials and sowing materialsSupport product development and launching developing technologiesOrganizing and conducting farming operations, such as collecting, storing, grading and packaging produce for the vegetablesEnsuring that time sensitive tasks, such as pollination, weeding, fertilisation, transplanting and harvesting are completed on time and according to schedulesIrrigationPlanning and implementation of weekly schedule for field weeding and transplantingImplementing fertility programs for the vegetable cropsPest control and implementing pest management planningMonitoring crop health, keeping and maintain all production records and reporting to GMMaintaining of all irrigation fittingsReporting on daily, weekly and monthly basis to General managerEnsure Global GAP control points are implemented on Farm operationsCollaboration with R&D on the different issues of irrigation systems to enhance the efficiency of the systemMeeting with clients and consultant about the efficiency of the workInspection of the new site for the proposal of new work Operations and maintenance of irrigation systemMonitoring plant growth environmentOrganizing maintenance/repair of farm property, equipment and machineryMaintaining crop production by cultivating and maintaining optimal growing conditions in assigned greenhouses and open field areasMaintain and monitor the quality of yield REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in vegetables farmingEducation background in AgricultureExperience and knowledge in organic farmingCompetitive salary2 months of housing allowanceAnnual vacation ticketsPhone allowanceCar or transport allowance
