The Senior Manager - Application Architecture will be based in Riyadh.DescriptionThe Senior Manager - Application Architecture will be responsible for:Designing Application Architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture and business requirementsDefining application and coding guidelines/standardsTechnical strategy and roadmap for application developmentApplications and systems integrationMaintaining service-oriented architecture (SOA)Building security considerations into Application ArchitectureMobile app architectureWorking closely with software engineers, product managers, business analysts, Unit Heads, etc.Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and applications and evaluate their potential impact on the application architectureProviding technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers and development teamsWorking closely with vendors; reviewing and challenging high-level/low-level technical designsProfileThe Senior Manager - Application Architecture will be/have:A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study8+ years of experience in Application/Solution ArchitecturePreviously worked in large, complex organisations with expansive and highly integrated application landscapesStrong knowledge of application architecture principles, design patterns, software development methodologies, application integration, mobile architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA), API design, etc.Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance applicationsProficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks and technologiesExperience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their application architecturesStrong understanding of application securityThe ability to work in a cross-function environment, a communicate with several stakeholders across all levels of the businessStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesThe ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAble to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyBased in/willing to relocate to RiyadhJob OfferAn attractive salary along with family benefits will be on offer for the Senior Manager - Application Architecture role.
