Candidates should have experience dealing with standard and custom theme development, plugin selection, plugin development, security, performance, mobile-first design, and custom integrations.Duties & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience working with WordPress.
  • Build new sites per approved designs and specifications.
  • Develop front-end and back-end for WordPress websites.
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Work with a team of developers, BA, PM, QA, to execute strategies and implement solutions.
  • Establishing and guiding the website?s architecture
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Technical Requirements
  • Must have expert-level knowledge of WordPress Core and theme and plugin development with a strong understanding of all commonly used web technologies - JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Experience in creating websites with popular WordPress page builders such as WP Bakery page builder, Elementor, Gutenberg Block, etc.
  • Must have experience with custom themes and custom plugin development.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Experience with custom API integrations.
  • Experience with WordPress REST API/GraphQL.
  • Should be good in debugging and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge of building E-commerce sites on the WooCommerce framework will be a plus.
