Employment: Contract Finance Team Lead for an Oil and Gas Company in the UAEJOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible to lead and supervise the day-to-day finance and accounting function including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, audit and VATResponsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and TreasuryReview monthly revenue invoices and ensure compliance with revenue contracts; review bank reconciliations and scrutinize and clear reconciling itemsEnsure financial integrity by conducting complete GL review and internal controls check as part of monthly closing activityReview monthly/quarterly asset capitalization and depreciation calculation and recordingRecord and review month-end accruals and ensure accruals are aligned with monthly cost projectionSupport audit requirements both internal and external by providing required information to auditors and provide assistance to the team as and when required during the audit REQUIREMENTS: POSITION: Finance Team LeadHIRING COMPANY: Oil and gas companyLOCATION: UAEAVAILABILITY: Immediately (1 month max)EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract (1-year extendable)CANDIDATE PROFILE:Open to ANY nationalityMale/Female, 45 years old and belowEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelors Degree in Finance/AccountingACCA Qualification is a mustMinimum of 13 years of overall experience, with at least 5-7 years in the Oil & Gas IndustryMust have at least 3 years leadership experience handling accounts payable and receivable, audit, treasury, and VAT teamExtensive hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Audit, Treasury and UAE VAT regulationsOutstanding knowledge and experience in UAE/Bahrain/Oman or any other GCC country VAT regulationsStrong hands-on experience in General Ledger, IFRS and Accruals and UOP depreciationGood understanding of bank guarantee and LC paymentsProficient in using accounting software and MS Office ApplicationsExperience in using Maximo and Sun System is an advantageExcellent communication and leadership skills
