Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented 2D Graphic Design Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a young and dynamic team for the delivery of creative master planning and public realm design of varying scales.What Youll Be Doing

  • Prepare and design high-quality reports, boards and presentation of master planning and landscape architecture projects.
  • Develop master plan and landscape plan layouts to the highest quality to graphically represent and sell the design works of the studio.
  • Develop graphical sections to show the elevation of the design intent of the projects at a variety of scales.
  • Create sketch renders to demonstrate the space and scale of a design at the early stages of the concept development.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • Expert understanding of graphical softwares, including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Lumion, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and work across teams within the studio.
  • Solid communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate outline sketch ideas into workable scales and spaces using modelling software.
  • Self-motivation, work part of the team but also have the ability to work independently.
  • Minimum 5 Years of continuous employment within the profession of Urban Design or Landscape Architecture.
  • Bachelor of Visual Communications, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or related field.
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
  • Willingness to develop and further graphical skills and techniques for the enhancement of the digital landscape presentations.
  • Ability to hand sketch in plan, section, and 3D.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and affiliation.
