Job Description

Budgeting and Financial Performance

  • Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances tomanagement.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance to organizations values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies and quality standards.

  • Ability to work under pressure and be present at all engagements. To be available to oversee pre-event and activity setup and available when required.
  • Support Line manager in working with various FAB businesses/ departments to initially identify their engagement requirements and then to implement as per the agreed activity plan, timeline and budget and post-event report.
  • Work on assigned projects as per the agreed activity plan, timeline, and budget, and provide them with post- event report that will assist in evaluating the event.
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of the planned engagement in terms of logistics, layout and stand design (participate with businesses and GMARCOM team in designing the required FAB stands), branding, media &PR coverage
  • Ensure that projects handled are delivered to the quality expected and as planned.
  • Implement a measurable annual calendar of engagements and experiences to foster high levels of staff participation, engagement and which influences behaviour change in support of the banks objectives.
  • Implements a systematic measurement framework to inform ongoing and future investment in
  • Identifies, engages and mobilizes an internal network of partners to assist in the execution of activities, and deliver effective communications pre and post event.
  • Identifies community needs that provide opportunities for innovative social programmes and gains consensus to develop and implement a structured plan of activities, and measures and reports on progress and impact.
  • Engages with overseas offices to provide support and guidance and creates and shares toolkits to ensure alignment across the banks different locations.
Qualifications
  • A degree or relevant professional/technical qualification or certificate related to social development and community development, sustainability or proven relevant experience which includes project and events management.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience of working in events ideally within a financial or other corporate environment and with a commitment and passion for events
  • Ability to effectively and proactively manage own workload to meet deadlines and achieve results during challenging and changing times.
Additional InformationWork with the VP to implement the set approach for bank-wide engagements in UAE and key markets. Deliver and track progress of bank wide engagements and work on areas of improvement.Responsible of the planning and execution of planned engagements and bespoke experiences across business and report progress as per a structured framework and metrics.
