Storekeeper - NE1 CSP Plant performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as requiredTechnical:Maintain inventory for plant supplies includes ordering, receiving and allocatingPrepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports and correspondence.Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock.Reports cancelled and damaged items to the purchase department as appropriateHandles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.Identification, segregation and preservation of materials storedMaintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.Segregation of waste for proper disposalInform relevant personnel about the arrival of material and to arrange for inspectionAnswers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.Arrange to return non-conforming materialsIssue material as per the requirements and maintain recordsHealth, Safety, Security & Environment:Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.Monitor the environmental regulatory parameters on a regular basis and report any deviations to Shift Supervisor/Engineer for corrective action.Who will Fit:A technical certificate / Associate?s Diploma in any discipline3-5 years? experience in process industry in stores or utility industrySkills:Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principlesKnowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals being stored in the ware houseKnowledge of identification, handling, storing and disposal of wastes and expired chemicalsAbility to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
