The Ophthalmology Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing eye conditions and diseases. They provide comprehensive eye care services, perform eye surgeries, and advise patients on eye health and vision correction options.Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed eye examinations and diagnose eye disorders.Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other corrective measures.Perform ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract removal, LASIK, or other procedures.Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.Keep detailed records of patient histories and treatments.Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate new techniques and technologies.Qualifications:Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Ophthalmology.Valid medical license and registration.Fellowship or specialization in Ophthalmology.Proven experience in ophthalmic diagnosis and surgical procedures.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive cases.
