Job Description

ABOUT THE FUNCTIONThe Master Trainer (MT) role at VEO is a highly experienced fitness professional responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive fitness programs, providing advanced training and mentorship to other trainers & instructors company wide. The MT will promote a culture of excellence within our personal training and group exercise professionals across all clubs and will make sure that all customer service and programme delivery standards are met by all fitness staff. The MT will also be responsible for curating the VEO signature gym floor class programme that must be UAE REPs certified and will facilitate training courses for our instructors to become certified and deliver the MT will also deliver group exercise classes and personal training to distinguished elite & VIP clients. The MT is our ambassador internally but also externally, and will be visible at trade shows delivering workshops & getting involved in contemporary industry panel discussions.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred).
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a reputable organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM).
  • Assessor certification recognized in UAE.
  • GEL or ETM certificate
  • Additional specialized certifications and CPD courses (e.g., Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition)
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and staying updated on industry advancements and trends.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching other trainers, showcasing leadership qualities within the gym environment.
  • Several years of experience as a certified personal trainer or fitness professional, demonstrating proficiency in program design, client management, and exercise techniques.
Program Design and Implementation:
  • Develop advanced, periodized group fitness programs considering goals, abilities, and any specific requirements set up by the VEO.
  • Liaise with REPs to get the training program certified and licensed.
Mentorship and Training:
  • Provide specialized training, mentorship, and ongoing support to junior trainers, sharing advanced techniques, coaching strategies, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular workshops and training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of trainers.
Leadership and Role Modeling:
  • Serve as a leader within the VEO fitness facility, demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and expertise in fitness training.
  • Inspire and motivate both members and fellow trainers through best practice.
Continuing Education and Certification:
  • Stay up to date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications by attending workshops, seminars, and pursuing advanced certifications.
Quality Control and Standards:
  • Maintain high standards of training excellence, ensuring all trainers adhere to established protocols and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Conduct periodic audits and evaluations of training sessions and group exercise classes to uphold quality.
Client Engagement and Satisfaction:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with members, providing ongoing support, motivation, and personalized attention.
  • Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
Collaboration and Networking:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, physical therapists, and nutritionists to create comprehensive wellness plans for members with specific health considerations.
  • Network with industry professionals and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies.
Personal Training (PT) and Group Exercise (GX) Classes:
  • Deliver high-quality Personal Training sessions, providing personalized attention, motivation, and support to help elite & VIP members achieve their fitness goals.
  • Lead Group Exercise classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants while delivering effective workouts.
Promotion and Brand Advocacy:
  • Actively promote the VEO brands products, services, or events through various channels, including social media, blogs, and in-person interactions.
  • Share personal experiences and success stories related to the brands offerings via seminars and marketing channels
  • Attending and representing the VEO brand at fitness expos, workshops, and industry events, where they may conduct demonstrations, workshops, competitions (national and international) or presentations.
