THE ROLEReporting to the Document Control Manager responsible for document registration, issue control, transmittal, and distribution. Enforce and implement document control procedures in compliance with the project and client’s standards.project descriptionThe project is a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabis growth. This includes developing community facilities such as schools, mosques, parks, etc. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESControl drawings, specifications, design records, standards, procedures, correspondence, minutes of meetings and supplier documents, etcDocument registration, issue control, copying, distribution and transmittalAbility to generate, maintain, and regularly provide an update on documentation statuses and reportsCo-ordination and support of Consultants and Contractors document controllersEffectively communicate documentation issues within the project team, the Consultants, and the Contractors in a clear and timely mannerEXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEMinimum overall relevant experience 10 yearsMinimum relevant experience 5 years in the roleExperienced user of internet-based document control systems preferred e.g. AsiteExperienced user of MS OfficePrevious experience in the Middle East is an advantageFluent English both written and spoken.Arabic speaking is must.
