Job Description

The Quality Control Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and testing processes within the production environment. They lead a team of quality inspectors, ensure compliance with quality standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest level of product quality.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the quality control team.Conduct and oversee quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Ensure adherence to company quality standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.Document and report quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.Train and mentor team members on quality procedures and testing techniques.Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.Participate in audits and inspections by external agencies or clients.Implement and improve quality control processes and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role.Leadership experience is highly desirable.Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO, Six Sigma, or GMP.Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and team management skills.
