JOB PURPOSETo develop, roll-out and manage complex product propositions in order to support the targeted business growth in line with the business strategy and planAccountabilitiesProduct Development and ManagementTranslate the strategy and plans shared by line manager into the product value proposition by developing and managing a differentiating and complex product portfolio which addresses customer needs and captures market opportunitiesPropose and implement strategies that enhance product cross-selling opportunities in order to increase customer acquisition, activation and retentionResearch and Data GatheringBuild market intelligence, conduct research and gather information using multiple sources to monitor market sizing, competitive landscape, customer segmentation and market opportunities in order to provide accurate and reliable info/data that enables decision-makingPortfolio ManagementReview, monitor and control a complex product portfolio to ensure portfolio quality, portfolio composition, risk recognition, accounts strategy and industry intelligence are aligned with the Banks risk strategy and market conditionsPeople ManagementManage self and team in line with ADCBs people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performanceOrganize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systemsPolicies, Processes, Systems and ProceduresImplement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholdersContinuous ImprovementManage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Banks standardsCustomer ServiceDemonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactionsSkillsEXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESMinimum ExperienceAt least 6 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services with experience in a Product Management roleMinimum QualificationsBachelors Degree in a relevant specializationProfessional QualificationsCertified Product Manager (CPM) or equivalentKnowledge And SkillsTransaction Banking product knowledgeFinancial analysisProject management skills
