Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods in line with recipes and quality standards.Assist in developing new recipes, seasonal items, and creative menu concepts to enhance the bakery offering.Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all baked products.Monitor ingredient levels and assist in inventory management, ordering, and proper storage.Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times during preparation and storage.Operate and maintain baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of items.Follow kitchen schedules and production plans to meet outlet and event requirements.Minimise wastage by practising portion control and proper handling of ingredients.Support in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices as required.
