We are seeking a skilled Material Controller to manage and oversee materials procurement, inventory, and logistics for ADNOC Oil & Gas operations. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in materials management, particularly in piping and shutdown activities, ensuring the availability of materials for maintenance and project execution while adhering to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate daily materials management activities including receipt, storage, and issuance of piping and shutdown materials.Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and update records to ensure data integrity.Assist in planning and scheduling materials for shutdown periods and maintenance activities.Collaborate with procurement teams to facilitate timely purchasing and delivery of materials.Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Verify material certifications, inspection reports, and compliance with ADNOC standards.Support documentation processes related to material receipt, issuance, and stock movements.Ensure safety procedures are followed during handling, storage, and transportation of materials.Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.Assist in resolving material discrepancies and shortages.Maintain compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company policies.Support the project team with timely material availability and reporting.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in materials management within the oil & gas industry.Experience with piping and shutdown materials (minimum 4 months exposure preferred).Familiarity with ADNOC standards and procedures.Knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP software.Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes.Good organizational and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams.
