Job Description

Our client is one of the well-known retail sporting goods manufacturing companies, looking to hire an IT Technical Support to join their team in Dubai, UAE.Qualifications:

  • Computer Science or related disciplines with MCSE Core Infrastructure / CCNA qualification preferred.
  • 2-3 years of end-user support experience in an environment with Windows servers, PCs (Win 10/11 and Mac), Microsoft 365, MS Teams applications
  • Pro-active, independent, responsible, and detail-minded with good interpersonal and task management skills
  • Fluent in English
General IT Support Office/Retail:
  • Provide technical support to users on hardware and OA application (Windows, Office, Outlook, MSTeams, iPhone, Copier/printer, A/V)
  • Perform PC setup & rollout, configuration and software installation/upgrade/maintenance.
  • Ownership of incident and business requests and management through the regional service desk team.
  • Responsible for the escalated case from the regional service desk team.
  • New associate onboarding (hardware provisioning, License and user-profile setup)
  • Perform User Access Administration on AD/AAD, SharePoint/File server and Exchange Online.
  • Perform routine system checking and troubleshooting - Server, Network Connectivity, and Process integration.
  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment, software & licenses.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and operational procedures
  • Partners with IT vendors and suppliers, establishing and monitoring SLAs (Service Level Agreements) including support and maintenance. Manage the acquisition, configuration, installation, and maintenance of all hardware and software to specified corporate standards.
  • Work with regional/global team on implementing IT corporate standards, policies and procedures
Retail Support
  • Support the technical environment in the retail domain including wired/wireless network, Printer, large format A/V display, traffic counter, iPad and PC.
  • Support Retail store set-up/Relocation (IT Equipment layout design, Equipment/service Ordering, set up of cabling and network, WiFi coverage, managing mobility device, working with a vendor on provisioning)
  • Work with POS support team on troubleshooting of access issues and hardware issues.
