The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and visitors. She/He is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all patrons.Key Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly and assist with reservations, seating, and waitlist management.Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station.Manage guest flow and seating arrangements to optimize the restaurants capacity.Provide menus and information about specials or events.Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations.Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.Assist in managing reservations and guest lists using reservation systems.Support other front-of-house duties as needed.Qualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Friendly, approachable, and professional appearance.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.Good organizational skills.Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.Knowledge of reservation and POS systems is advantageous.
