As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at our restaurant/hotel. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a warm, welcoming environment, manage reservations, and assist guests in seating and service flow to provide an exceptional customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with reservationsManage waiting lists and inform guests about wait timesEscort guests to their tables and provide menusHandle guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant/hotelCoordinate with service staff to ensure smooth seating flowMaintain cleanliness and organization of the reception areaHandle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessaryAssist in promotional activities and special events as neededFollow safety and hygiene standards at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plusPrior experience in customer service or hospitality preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly, approachable, and professional demeanorAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
