The Assistant Store Keeper supports the storekeeping team in managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining stock records, and ensuring the smooth operation of store activities. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety and inventory procedures.Key Responsibilities:Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming stock against purchase orders.Help in storing and organizing stock items systematically.Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and storage locations.Prepare items for dispatch as per requisitions and ensure proper documentation.Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory reconciliation.Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.Assist in labeling, tagging, and categorizing stock items.Support the Store Keeper in maintaining documentation and reports.Follow safety protocols and company policies during store operations.Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely stock replenishment.Qualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehousing or inventory management is a plus.Prior experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management preferred.Basic knowledge of inventory control systems and MS Office.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy.
