It encompasses marketing communications and public relations. The second aspect of the role will focus on internal communication and supporting employees to understand and buy into the companys target, principles, and action plans.Missions and ResponsibilitiesThe incumbents key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Drive AMEI PR activities including drafting PR & position paper, award nominations, securing speaking engagements and opportunities in relevant conferences for AMEI spokespeople
  • Works in partnership with the Communication team to develop creative PR, speeches/scripts and media monitoring reports
  • Develop and implement an internal communications content strategy in line with the strategic objectives and provide an effective flow of information between Group, hub and entities to create an environment of shared understanding.
  • Support the Communications teams, at hub and entities, on other activities when needed.
Competencies and Profile- Degree in Communications/ Journalism/ Public Relations/ Business Degree or related field- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience within an agency or client-side as a copywriter dealing with multiple clients- Must have experience in drafting high level speeches & scripts for C-level executives- Experience using media monitoring tools to create daily/weekly reports for organizational leadership- Able to demonstrate a track record of producing content that increases engagement with a target audience.- Excellent/outstanding writing skills and high-level creativity- Ability to produce fresh ideas and content- Being able to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines- Must have a good understanding of sustainability/Energy transition, STEM, and similar fields- Native or fluent English speaker and writer; French is an asset , Arabic is an added advantage- Working knowledge of Gmail and Google Suite including Docs, Slides and Sheets is preferred.
