Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC plans for civil construction activities, ensuring they align with project requirements and standards.
Prepare ITPs for all construction activities, detailing the inspection and testing processes for each phase of the project.
Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of civil design documents, including drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
Perform regular audits and assessments of civil construction activities to ensure adherence to the QA plan and project specifications.
Conduct inspections of all civil works, including excavation, foundation construction, concrete pouring, reinforcement placement, and structural steel erection, to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Oversee the testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, aggregates, soil) to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
Assess the quality of workmanship in civil construction activities, identifying any deficiencies and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Identify, document, and report any non-conformance issues related to civil construction activities.
Work with the construction team to develop and implement corrective actions to address non-conformance issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance logs.
Regularly prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to the QA/QC Manager, highlighting inspection results, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions taken.
Ensure all civil construction documents, including drawings and specifications, are properly controlled, updated, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with site supervisors, foremen, and construction teams to ensure civil works are executed according to quality standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their work meets the project?s quality expectations and standards.
Liaise with third-party inspectors and testing agencies to ensure independent verification of civil construction quality.
Contribute to the preparation of handover documentation, including as-built drawings and quality records, ensuring a smooth transition to the client.
Background:
Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Relevant certifications in quality management or civil engineering (e.g., ISO 9001, Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.
