Job Description

We are a leading manufacturer of fire-rated doors and fire equipment, operating in the United Arab Emirates. We are seeking a Quality and Operations Improvement Engineer to join our team and oversee the optimization of our manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we need a skilled engineer who can implement the latest Industry 4.0 techniques and leverage our ERP system (Odoo) to improve our efficiency, accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and process improvement initiatives across all manufacturing operations.
  • Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies and best practices to optimize our manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new procedures and processes that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for quality control and operations management.
  • Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  • Integrate Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT devices, sensors, and data analytics, into the production process to further optimize efficiency and quality
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify Odoo requirements, design and configure the system, and ensure proper data management and reporting
  • Develop and implement Industry 4.0 solutions, such as predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and automated workflows, that leverage Odoos capabilities
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and operations improvement in a manufacturing environment preferably in Fire Rated Products
  • Experience in implementing and managing ERP systems, with specific experience in Odoo preferred
  • Knowledge of industry 4.0 technologies and best practices, including IoT devices, sensors, and data analytics
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain teams
  • Knowledge of analytical process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Process Optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in the Gulf area and familiarity with local regulations and requirements.
