We make UAE a safer place by providing secure electronic payment solutions, cyber security systems and communications as well as security systems for Dubai International Airport and air traffic management and navigation systems for Abu Dhabis airport.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all Thales systems.-Maintenance performed utilizing established procedures and submit a report to the Supervisor of maintenance.-Provide Customers with support in the ability to carry out and uphold Company policies and Procedures.-Receives general instructions on what is to be done, limitations, quality and quantity expected, Deadlines and priority of assignments from Team leader.-Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction but Receives additional specific instructions from Team leader for new, difficult, or special-Projects/assignments.-Other duties as assigned by Team leader. REQUIREMENTS: WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS-High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required-Must be willing to travel domestically and, if required, internationally-Valid, unrestricted Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United Arab Emirates or ability to obtain one-Must speak, read and write English fluently-Regular attendance and punctuality is required-Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License-Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is locatedQUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer-Able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and follow written procedures and instructions-Ability to terminate electrical connectors utilizing proper crimp methods as well as proper soldering methods acceptable in the electronics Defence industry Ability to adapt to changing conditions and directions-Ability to summarize and effectively present information to Supervisors and Customers-Ability to work on problems of moderate scope and analyze data/situations-Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stop frequently in confined spaces-Alert to moving vehicles-Able to drive tugs, trucks, lift trucks, snorkel lift, boom lift and tractor after attending training-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency-Will be required to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in Electricity/Electronics-Intermediate computer skills with previous exposure to a Computerized Maintenance-Management SystemPREFERRED SKILLS-Maintenance technician school preferredAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
