Role Summary:The Site Manager is responsible for the on-site project execution. He is responsible for the implementation of the current EHS rules, the management of the main contract, the respect of the as sold budget, the quality monitoring and the keys milestones achievement. He leads the site team, and is the main point of contact with project manager, customer, partner and subcontractor.Essential Responsibilities:The site manager carries out for GE customers the whole site project execution of the power plants sold by GE in the respect of health, safety and environment, schedule, budget and contract.In particular but not limited:Manage the site team : Site Organization, Rules, Mob/DemobProvide the focal point contact for the customer, partners and subcontractors on all site related issues, including technical advice, and construction execution strategies to the partner and subcontractors, to ensure accomplishment of project/customer requirements.Manage field execution including those of subcontractor(s) and liaisons with Partners to ensure all project performance requirements, quality, EHS, schedule, and budget are achieved.Manage site cost within budget, manage cost of quality, local purchasing processSet up EHS plan with EHS manager to ensure respect of EHS and LOTO rulesReview and monitor Site detailed schedule to ensure compliance with the contract requirementsProvide on time and accurate site report of execution progress to project management.Anticipate issues : Identify performance issues and implement risk mitigation and resolution actionsAchieve high customer satisfactionControl punch item closureEnsure that Lessons Learned are captured.Mobilize/demobilize GE site facilities, office equipment, utilities, securityImplement site GFO administrative processes in alignment with location requirementsIn association with the GE Materials Manager, Manage and control all GE supplied and sourced materialEnsure the site Quality Program is implementedConduct all GE business activities on site in strict accordance with all Company integrity policies.Administer field work orders, back-charges, change orders and claim avoidance as related to field activities.
