Employment: Full Time Beauty Therapist - Aveda, Harvey Nichols - DubaiJob PurposeTo provide a professional range of skin services for our clients compliant with salon protocol and accepted documented practicesEssential Roles and ResponsibilitiesFunctional Roles and ResponsibilitiesWelcome and greet every client in a warm and friendly manner and demonstrate excellent customer service at all timesPerform a range of skin services as directed in the salon brochureProvide a full consultation to identify any health or skin problems before carrying out servicesIdentify the needs of the client by asking questions and confidently recommend services and products that are appropriateExplain the steps of the service for each stage of the process to ensure client confidenceHandle client questions and concerns effectively and with empathyManage client complaints professionally and efficiently in line with the company after sales policy, escalating to management if necessaryUphold municipality standards of hygiene and salon policies and procedures for all treatmentsBuild relationships with clients and record all technical service information for future referenceBe knowledgeable regarding all products used in the skin departmentPerform all technical services following brand guidelines to achieve the desired resultRecommend products for after care and additional retail purchases to supplement the serviceMaintain a professional relationship with the clienteleCoordinate with receptionists to have maximum number of appointments per dayManage client retention with Book Back processEncourage client referrals to achieve a full day column in line with working days and productivity growthMaintain personal grooming standards at all times enhancing the image of the industry and Profile brandCare for all tools and equipment ensuring sterilization process is always of the highest levelsPerform prep and cleaning of the treatment room after each client to obtain a quality work environmentReport to management any concerns in connection with the skin department and/or client services requiring attentionUse recommended amounts of salon use products to assist with cost controlAttend planned trainings as necessary to update skillsUpdate by self- learning to be aware of latest practicesCheck stock levels daily and inform manager of depleting stocks as per individual technician needsMaintain retail display areas, check barcodes, expiry dates and replenish as directedRemove all expired and damaged items from treatment room and report to managerPrepare orders for salon use itemsAssist role related with stocktaking counts as directedPerform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Job REQUIREMENTSEducation/Certification and Continued EducationHigh school qualificationIndustry certificationYears of ExperienceMinimum 2 - 3 years working as a therapist in a salon or spaBrand knowledge of LyconUp to date knowledge of hair removal practices
