Supervises and performs a variety of duties related to display and sale of merchandise items; maintains retail area and merchandise in a safe, clean and orderly fashion; maintains merchandise stock while meeting LEGOLAND Dubai sales goals and assuring sound employee and customer relations. Also assists Retail Assistant Store Manager with daily cash handling and opening/closing duties.Main Duties- Schedules, assigns and supervises the activities of Retail Associates to ensure timely and efficient completion of daily responsibilities- Responsible for merchandise orders/paperwork, stocking, ticketing, merchandise display and housekeeping- Manages and monitors cash register operations and cash control to ensure accuracy- Understanding and use of the cash register and inventory system- Assist and resolves guest complaints and inquiries- Participates in enforcement of department policies and procedures- Ensures store maintenance, safety and security- Provides excellent standards of guest service. Leads by example- Assists in the use of space management techniques to ensure effective use of space- Achieves exceptional standards of visual merchandising on and above each fixture- Responsible for replenishment of all fixtures- Constantly strives to maximize sales potential- Ensures that Sales Associates and Team Leads are fully trained, on an ongoing basis, about guest service standards, selling techniques and product knowledge- Organizes and holds regular briefings and meetings for all Sales Associates absence of Retail Assistant Manager- Maintains visual presentation, ensures merchandise maintenance, distribution of merchandise product from backroom, warehouse to sales area. Monitors accuracy for ticketing- Ensures store maintenance, safety and security- Opening/closing and cash handling duties- Operates as Duty Manager when on shift as scheduled by the Retail Operations Manager- Performs other related duties as required and directed by Retail Operations Manager and other members of the Leadership team REQUIREMENTS: Are You a StarIn order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:- Three years of experience within a customer or guest service related field is preferred- Knowledge of cash handling, inventory handling, and of point of sale (register) systems is helpful- Ability to work with others in a team environment- Effective communication skills required- Self motivated and demonstrated initiative- Dedicated to providing outstanding guest service- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressureThe Best Part of The StoryWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes; housing allowance, annual flight allowance, comprehensive medical coverage, life and accident insurance and other generous allowances.
