Employment: Full Time GENERAL DESCRIPTIONAs a Tax Intern you will assist the Tax Director with tax reporting, compliance and planning. You will spend your time on a diverse array of projects, statutory reporting, tax updates and presentations. You will get to know the business modality, work with the different divisions and grow your tax knowledge.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with the Tax reporting and complianceFollow the new tax Laws and summarize the updatesWork with the different divisions on tax queries mainly VATWork with the accounting team on Tax declarationsAssist with tax-related projects and workshops REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE0-18 months of relevant work experienceUnderstanding of financial statements and accounting principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and EnglishConsiderable research and presentation skillsExcellent skills in PowerPoint and ExcelSKILLS AND ABILITIESBachelors or Masters degreeMajor in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or any business-related major where you have completed courses in taxationAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, high compliance environmentAbility to work accurately and quickly under tight deadlinesAvailable to start full-time job in January/February 2021PERSONAL COMPENTENCIESPassionate about tax knowledge and learningStrong analytical skills and attention to detailsStrong problem-solving skills
